Missing person found after 22 years with the help of google map

A Person missing from 22 years was found using a google satellite image.

William Moldt, age 40 from florida went missing one night when he was going home on november 7 , 1997.

The BBC reports that a man from wellington florida was trying to see his old location using google satellite image.

During the search, he noticed that there was a car in the pond near his location.

Upon seeing the photo he immediately called the owner of the old home ,who after looking at the picture noticed that there was a white car in the pond.

After seeing the image they immediately informed the police, after which the police reached the pond and they took out the car from the pond.

Police were shocked when the vehicle was taken out and they saw the remains of a human body who was the missing person william Moldt.


According to the reports william Moldt was returning from a club one night where he promised his girlfriend that he will meet her at home , before drowning.

Local people were surprised and they told the police that they could not believe there was a vehicle in the pond  .

The amazing thing is that this image of google earth is from 2007, but in these many years no one noticed a car in the pond.
